MADNESS MONDAY: KL Trip Thean Hou Temple #throwback

I know it is not a Thursday to do a throwback, however it is Madness Monday and I decided to go cray and share with you guys my KL trip from last year. This would be a photo heavy post of the places, and some obligatory selfie and people shot, we went to in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For this entry I decided to cover one place alone to avoid a super heavy post. So here goes the first place we went to which is:

The Thean Hou Temple

And that is my mom observing and admiring the beautiful temple.

Inside the temple there is this beautiful structure and inside each of those glowing yellow light is a Buddha figurine. Pretty cool, right?

You can also find this fortune stick thing inside the temple. I don't really know what it's called but it basically is a compartment with sticks and from the number of the stick you draw out you take and read your fortune.

And of course here is my fortune. It was pretty accurate but then again fortune telling should be more of a guide than anything. ;)

Moving on here are some of the statues you can find inside the temple.

Upon exiting the temple i found this table with beautiful flower shaped candles. Can we stop and admire how beautiful it is. :)

Following that i took pictures of the temple's exterior to show how vast and beautiful it was. It was really clean and well maintained and you kind of get a view of the city skyline. Sort of.

Then there is this pillar with the dragon carving. The design is very beautiful.

There is my family doing their thing.

I also found this vase where they put all the incense.

The exterior front view of the temple.

Here's my aunt posing for the camera.

Here are my parents looking happy and pleased.

Here is my attempt at a dramatic stolen shot of my aunt. I kinda like the positioning of my aunt and that girl in the background. If only Mr. In Red wasn't there. hmmm...

The family photo.
The pathway leading to the garden which I unfortunately did not enter.

And that concludes our Thean Hou Temple visit. Just a sneak peek of our trip. Hopefully I would be able to post more pictures and sights of places we went to.

Lots of love,

Samantharibelle
